There’s Joy in the Storm
Finished Reading: The Museum of Second Chances
I just finished reading The Museum of Second Chances and here are my thoughts…
Happy 250th to the U.S.A.!
Taking a little staycation…

When Offense Sneaks In
“The discretion of a man makes him slow to anger,
And his glory is to overlook a transgression.”
— Proverbs 19:11 NKJV
For the Love of Lemon
I love lemon.
Lemon desserts, lemon-colored paint, lemon décor, and lemony scents throughout my home. The only things that come close to my love of lemons are coconut and vanilla. Lemons are bright, summery and tart. I'm here for you lemons!
The Wedding Post
They’ve been officially married for a month, had a wonderful honeymoon and are now preparing to close on their first house together. I decided to finally post a slideshow of some of my favorite moments. I had to stop at 30 or so. Honestly, I loved them all.
They’re off to a great start and I love these two so very much.
I Am A Church Member. YAY!
What an incredible Sunday! I'm officially a member of my church.
Words fail me when I try to describe how it felt. Remember when I wrote the post, What An Incredible Weekend? This past Sunday was a bit like that, but with an even deeper sense of peace and joy.
Quest Log: June 2026
Today's Quest Log update is a little less about game mechanics and a little more about finding time for gaming in a busy season of life.
Life has been busy, busy, busy so far this June! I always chuckle when I fill out my planner at the beginning of the month and see a few blank days with nothing penciled in.
Moving in More Ways Than One
The goal is, and will continue to be, movement. Moving in order to get fit, and being open to God moving me in whatever direction He leads.
Coffee Cake from Lil’ Luna
God has blessed me with an assortment of gifts, but creating recipes from scratch isn't one of them. There are meals I make without a recipe, but they certainly couldn't be written in a traditional format. They're the kind of dishes you learn by watching me cook.
Friendship, Healing and a Good Book
Every so often I stumble across a book series that feels like settling into a comfortable chair with a warm cup of tea. Ellery Adams' A Secret, Book & Scone Society series is one of those discoveries.
Reflections
In an earlier blog entry, I wrote about photographing my grand-niece’s wedding. After three weeks and many hours of editing , the wedding photos are finished and delivered. Her reaction made every bit of the exhaustion and the pain I put my body through that day worthwhile.

We Were The Lucky Ones | Book Review
We Were the Lucky Ones is a book I grabbed when it went on sale for $7.99 in Kindle format. After my Amazon rewards it was $3.72. I’m a fan of historical fiction and biography and this book got outstanding reviews so I bought it.
My Favorite Devotionals
There are thousands of devotionals out there! Trust me, I’d own at least 100 if I let myself purchase one every time I saw one that’s pretty, focused on women, or older women, or any number of other topics I tend to hone in on.
Hello June!
May is done and June has arrived bringing sunshine, low humidity and lots of plans…

The Good, the Hard, and the Grace Between
It's Saturday, May 30th, and there's officially just one day left in the month. Sunday, is all about church in the morning and hanging with my hubby after that. It’s comforting to say we’ll be closing out the month resting, reading and enjoying each other’s company.
Oops! My Bad!
Oops! I’m changing the domain name for my site after reading more about wild wisteria. It’s absolutely beautiful, and every year I look forward to watching it bloom behind our home. But apparently this gorgeous, wild flowering vine slowly strangles trees.
After learning that, I decided to rename the site Where Grace Meets Her.
