Welcome to my little blog.

Hi, I'm B.

I'm a peach tea sipping, flip-flop wearing, t-shirt and jeans kind of gal who believes some of life's sweetest moments happen around a kitchen table, in a church pew, or gathered around a game board with family.

I love Jesus, treasure my family, and start most mornings with my Bible open and a cup of tea (sometimes coffee) nearby. My faith has carried me through every season of life, and God's grace continues to meet me in both the ordinary and extraordinary moments.

My husband and I have a story that still makes me smile. We met online through our shared love of gaming and spent several years building a friendship before realizing we were in love. At that time, he lived in Kansas while I was raising my sons in Jersey. Eventually, he packed up his life and moved across the country so we could build one together.

These days, we still enjoy adventuring together. Sometimes it's around a tabletop game like Settlers of Catan. Other times it's exploring virtual worlds side by side. What began as a shared hobby became one of the many ways we've built a life and created memories as a family.

I’m an avid reader. Cozy mysteries and historical fiction are longtime favorites. I also love crafting (my craft stash is out of control) baking, grilling, and feeding the people I care about. There is something deeply satisfying about gathering loved ones around a table and sharing a meal made with care.

This About page wouldn’t be complete without expanding on the statement “I love Jesus.” I think the chorus from the song Because He Lives says it best…

Because He lives,
I can face tomorrow!
Because He lives,
All fear is gone.
Because I know
He holds the future,
And life is worth the living,
Just because He lives!

Thanks for being here.

Peace,
B
